Letter from The Secretariat 

Dear all,

It it is with the utmost pleasure that we invite you to participate in the 4th Annual St. Peter’s International Model United Nations (SPIMUN) Conference in Palmela, Portugal, following the great success of the last three SPIMUN Conferences.

As a characteristic of our conference, SPIMUN is dedicated to providing the best MUN experience for all of our delegates. We aim to provide an opportunity for all participants to engage in debate, strengthen their communication skills and enjoy the MUN environment offered by St. Peter's. Therefore, like last year, the Secretariat is preparing an ever-improved in-person conference, taking place on Friday the 14th of March to Saturday the 15th of March 2025. SPIMUN will once again entertain a Junior Committee, a Senior Committee, and a Security Council, all which will tackle a range of globally significant issues through fruitful and constructive discussion. Furthermore, the Press Corps will be closely following the developments of these committees, reporting as journalists on the course of the debates and the overall resolutions. Hence, SPIMUN will ensure a variety of debate and opportunities to engage with internationally significant topics and processes.  

Starting on the 9th of December, delegate applications will be open and will last until the 24th of January, 2025. This should be done through your MUN directors by filling out the Delegate Registration Form emailed to them.
